After all the tests yesterday, even though the test results are not back yet, they started me on a course of treatment of antibiotics and steroids. I feel 100% better today. The constant pressure on my lungs and heart lessened considerably. I slept for over 10 hours last night. Even though I am still coughing and coughing up some blood from time to time, I feel better. I felt so good that I went for a short walk in the hallway, did some toryu’s and donyu’s in a chair.
I also had 2 different visitors yesterday, Pat and Claudia came visited me. It was so good to spend some time with them as well. I really appreciate that. Ruth stopped by to say hi today because she is volunteering at the hospital. It’s good to have visitors. If you are local, please feel free to stop by and visit anytime.

Glad you are feeling better. 🙂
Dear Helena,
What wonderful news to hear that you are able to walk and incorporate a little exercise. I am feeling encouraged on your behalf, and I hope the test results will bring welcome news. It’s hard to believe that hoping for pneumonia is the goal here, but we will certainly hope as hard as we can.
hugs and love, Barbara
I’m so glad you’re feeling better! I hope that good feeling continues…
Hey, great news!
Good morning, Helena
I hope you realize by now how many people are in your corner. You are in our thoughts all of the time. When my Andre’ sings in the college choir on his birthday, when the new puppy gets her shots, when another grandson introduces his new girlfriend, when the rabbit in my yard lays in the sun unafraid of my 90 pound dog and so on. I send love, Kara Lang
