Dopey Helena didn’t get high, just got a good night’s sleep from 1 single drop of tincture! Some powerful stuff. As usual, I missed all the fun of being in an altered state! Hahaha! People drink alcohol and get high, I drink alcohol and get sleepy. Why should this be different? I really felt like I had a bottle of wine. I bet I was asleep in 5 minutes last night! The difference is I didn’t wake up with a hangover. The effect lasted about 4 hours or so, when I woke up, I was clear headed.
This morning I got smart. Instead of taking my Tagrisso in the afternoon after my radiation, I took it at 6am this morning! Normally I can’t just change the time I take the medicine, but since I threw it up yesterday, it became a reset day. So, my pill was well digested long before radiation. I did throw up around dinner time, but that’s ok. I am not upset this time. I get use to throwing up, shrug my shoulders and move on. Isn’t that awful? lol!Â
I have to report some good news. I have been on Targrisso for less than 10 days, my cough has gotten so much better. I stopped coughing up blood after being on it for 3 days. My lungs are beginning to clear up. There was a bulging lymph node sticking out on the side of my neck now pretty much all gone! It’s amazing what this drug is doing for me. Celebrating little victories and milestones! 🙂

Yea for Tagrisso (and cannabis). And once your radiation is done, no more nausea. As your earlier post said, “small steps”.
Dearest Helena,
Sometimes when you miss a dose, it gives you a great opportunity to create a better time. It sounds as though you have been able to do that. It also seems that the Tagrisso is really making a difference.
I am so glad that the medical cannabis has allowed you to get some sleep. What a blessing that is! See, there is another wonderful opportunity: the fact that you were developing a website for someone who desperately needed cannabis for her child. She knew how to help you in that effort.
We are all sending you positive light, love, and energy.
So glad to hear that you received a night of good sleep. That must have felt wonderful. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Ruth
No buzz, huh?…Did you get the munchies? haha. I’m glad you got some good sleep. It’s good to know that drug is working. Yeah for little victories!
lol. didn’t get the munchies either.
Hi Helena,
I hope you are feeling pretty well today. Maybe the weekend will provide a restful opportunity. I have a greater belief in faith than I do in fate. So I am going with the thought that faith allowed you to work in conjunction with a client who could help you in the cannabis certification process, and somehow faith intervened to reschedule your Tagrisso dosage. At any rate, I am encouraged to know that the radiation and medication seem to be making a positive difference.
Sleep well, my friend,
Barbara
Hi Helena,
I’ve been following your blog and praying for you. You are strong. Keep up the good work and get healthy so you can come back to Colorado and ski with me 🙂
Love and hugs,
Linda
