The second Alchemo session this morning went as well as it did the first time, maybe even a little better because I know more what to expect this time. Resting now and allowing the medicine to integrate. Just want to thank you all for your emails, comments, texts, well wishes, and prayers. I know I am safe and protected.

Alchemo Blessing II
I can’t believe how time flies! Just when I feel like I am getting back on my feet, I need to be getting ready for the next alchemo session already! I would like to think I know more about what to expect, but still… each of these is like a new battle to be taken seriously and prepare for. I won the last one to give me more experience and confidence to fight this one.
Wednesday, 8/14/19 from 8:30am – 12:30pm EST. My public service of transcending disease and suffering with each chemo drip! Last time I felt the power of the drug and I also felt the power of all the prayers, well wishes, and kind gestures of the support around me. Please be with me in spirit, fight along my side, unite our power to alleviate the suffering for the well being of all!
Potato chips, anyone?
I joked about handling nausea like I was pregnant. I really have all the crazy cravings like I was pregnant! This past week I found myself eating the strangest things. It started with David brought home a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips. I thought I would eat one just so I share something with him since I had not been able to eat much at the time. Well, like they said, you can’t just eat one. I ate a whole bowl of it and waiting to throw up, well, I didn’t. Guess what? I started eating potato chips! Isn’t that a root vegetable?! lol! David and I have shared a family size bag of potato chips everyday since!
Well, it didn’t stop there. I went to the store the other day and thought I should have some fermented food since I need to rebuild my gut flora. I bought some kim chi because that was the first thing came to mind. I normally don’t even like kim chi, they are smelly and yucky. Well, they tasted like the most delicious food in the world right now! lol!
Those are just two examples, but I have been eating up a storm of weird things I don’t normally even think about eating!
Last time I was at tai chi week, a friend of mine told me when she went through her chemo and radiation for her lung cancer 10 years ago, she lived in a little town at the time and they couldn’t do chemo there, so she had to go to Toronto to do it. Being in the big city at possibly the last stage of her life at the time, she was determined to enjoy herself! She took herself to movies and museums and binged on french fries that she stayed away from for most of her life. She said she was the only person she knows that gained 20 lbs during chemo. Well, she is about to meet another one! I gained 2 lbs already since chemo day 10 days ago. 🙂 I lost about 20 lbs since the whole cancer thing started. At the rate, I will be right back on track by the time I finish chemo… with a new healthy body and good spirit to boot!
