Happy Thanksgiving!

Scan results came back as conditions stable as my oncologist put it. There are no shrinking nor growth of tumors. In his book, good enough to stay on maintenance for the next 3 months until the next scan!

I had my maintenance chemo after that. The timing of it worked out that I even dropped in for a tai chi set at the end of my chemo! I just wanted to see what this body can do being pumped full of drugs. I did fine, a little difficult to concentrate with the drugs, but made it a more interesting set. 😉

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Thank you for your continuing support through my cancer journey. I know I have had some rough patches, but in many ways I have more respect for this body than I ever did when I was completely healthy. It never fails to amaze me how resilient life is in face of difficulties. Life finds a way! I keep my eyes on my healing process and let life guide me where I need to go.

Speaking of guiding, an old friend from Denver moved to Dunedin a couple of blocks from the new tai chi center. We caught up during my Lok Hup week. I had been wanting to spend a little time in Dunedin outside of workshops just to take some class, enjoy the beach and the sunshine… see if I could turn the tide in my favor. Just so that it happens he is leaving for a 2 week meditation retreat the week after Thanksgiving and offered to let me stay at his place! How perfect! I will be returning to Dunedin for a tai chi/beach vacation!
